Personalising Your Height Chart

You can let us know your preferred message in two ways:

1) Enter the message you would like in the text box when selecting the style of Family Rule you prefer.

or

2) Get in touch here to discuss your personalisation request before placing your order.

No problem at all! Simply put 'no personalisation' in the text box when placing your order.

Absolutely! As long as I can cut the font into a workable stencil to add the personalisation to your height chart you can have any font you like. Most people choose either the standard scripted font or our brand logo font - it's up to you.

If you have a specific colour in mind, or would like to discuss a theme, get in touch with us here and we'll be happy to work on a fully customised Family Rule. We like to use Annie Sloan Chalk Paints for their incredibly high quality and glorious selection of colours for you to choose from. In order to request this service please select the 'Bespoke' Family Rule when placing your order.

Installation

Each Family Rule comes with a keyhole hook already mounted on the reverse. The rulers are designed to be hung approx 20cm from the ground (this takes into account skirting boards). Your Family Rule will arrive with a tool pouch that contains the appropriate screws and raw plugs to hang the ruler, along with instructions. You can also view a PDF of the instructions here.

Delivery

All Family Rules are wrapped, boxed, and sent via courier to the address you provide. Please allow between 3-4 weeks for delivery (excluding pre-orders) for personalised items due to the bespoke, hand painted nature of the product.​ Orders placed over a weekend will be processed the following Monday.

Delivery outside mainland UK addresses is possible but there will be an additional charge depending on location. Please get in touch with details of the delivery address if you would like to discuss and receive an accurate quote. 

If you need your Family Rule urgently, please email us at hello@familyrule.co.uk and we will help to ensure you receive your Family Rule as quickly as possible. 

Due to the bespoke nature of each Family Rule, we can not provide a refund unless there is a fault with the product. If you would like to make an amendment to your order please email us within 48 hours of placing an order. After this point refunds/compensation will only be given if the ruler is faulty or damaged upon delivery. Please do get in touch if you have any queries - we are always very happy to help where possible.
